⚡ Labor’s Plan is Unfair
Energy makes up 75% of Australia’s emissions – but cuts have focused mostly on farmland.

90% of emissions cuts came from cutting productive farmland, not energy transition.

7.2 million hectares of farmland already lost – and another 5.1 million hectares could go.

🌏 Australia is Already Doing More Than Others
Since 2005, Australia has cut emissions by 24% (or 28% with latest data).

Rich OECD countries have cut emissions by just 14% in the same time.

Australia is cutting emissions at 2% per year, double the OECD average.

🇦🇺 A Fair Go For All Australians
We shouldn’t be tied to a target that won’t be met and will cost Aussie families far more than they can afford and far more than other developed countries are committing their citizens to pay.
We have a better plan.
CHEAPER. BETTER. FAIRER.
Lower Prices First
Amend rules to prioritise the lowest energy prices.
Scrap carbon taxes & end Labor’s war on utes and family cars.
Unleash all our energy, including coal, gas, nuclear and renewables.
Better Priorities
Weather proof Australia through dams, back-burning and improving soils.
Support landcare, soil carbon & waterway initiatives.
Prioritise defence, critical minerals, food & fuel security.
A Fair Go for All
Australians shouldn’t pay for the rest of the world’s emissions.
Align with comparable nations.
The cost of reducing emissions spread fairly.
Lower Emissions. Without the Pain.
🍃 A Practical Approach: “Carrots, Not Sticks”
Instead of punishing regions with harsh rules and big costs, we believe in encouraging practical solutions that actually work.
We want to bring back a simple and successful program called the Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF). It rewards farmers, communities, and industries that find smart ways to cut emissions — like planting trees, improving soil, or using cleaner technology.
⚖️ A Fair Target – Not a Fantasy
We’re setting goals that match what other countries are doing, no more, no less.
Labor requires us to reduce our emissions twice as fast as we have been. It can’t be done.
Labor’s plan would make us reduce our emissions at a rate triple other advanced economies.
We would set realistic, practical and achievable targets similar to the rest of the world.
Our plan would be affordable and realistic, with clear limits so everyday
Australians don’t get stuck with the bill.
Environmental Stewardship. Our Way.
Australians should not be locked out from nature. We should embrace an environmentalism that is participatory and recognises that prosperity and conservation go hand in hand.
Reward landholders for
regeneration.
Protect productive farmland from overrun by renewables
Expand access to nature: recreation, hunting, fishing.
Strengthen human-nature connection through use, not lockout.
Embrace new and emerging technologies, such as nuclear
Empower local communities to lead real environmental action

Australia’s energy future does not have to depend on building big power lines across farms. Local communities, landowners and businesses should help decide how we get our energy.
We need a common sense approach to renewables – solar panels where they make economic and practical sense such as our vast commercial and industrial precincts, not across our pristine landscapes or prime agricultural land.
Solar panels on rooftops, combined with grid-sized community batteries, can help keep the power grid stable, stop power networks from getting too busy, and make electricity cheaper when lots of people need it.
Help shape a stronger, fairer energy future.
Join thousands of Australians who want affordable power and real solutions.
